Privacy Policy

1. Scope

If you use one of our products, read the privacy policy published for that product or in its app-store listing. That policy, not this one, governs the information the product collects. This policy covers only the pages served at gtconsumer.com.

2. Who we are

GT Consumer Technologies LLC is a Texas limited liability company and is the controller responsible for the information described in this policy. You can reach us about privacy matters at privacy@gtconsumer.com.

3. Information we collect

This is a static marketing website. It has no contact form, no accounts, and no checkout, so there is no place on the site where you can submit personal information to us. We collect information in only three ways.

(a) Information you send us by email

If you write to one of the addresses published on this site, we receive your email address, any name or signature you include, the contents of your message, any attachments, and standard email headers. That correspondence is received and retained in our business email system. What you choose to include in an email is entirely up to you.

(b) Server and access logs

Like any website, this site is served over the internet, and our hosting provider records standard request logs. These typically include your IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested, the referring URL, and a timestamp. Logs are processed for security, abuse prevention, troubleshooting, and ordinary operations.

(c) Aggregated analytics measurement

We use Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to understand, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how quickly they load. These are privacy-friendly, aggregated, cookieless measurement tools. They do not use cookies or persistent identifiers to follow visitors across websites, and they are not used to build cross-site profiles or advertising audiences. The reporting we see consists of aggregate counts and page-performance timings, not individual visitor histories.

What we do not collect. This site does not ask for or collect account credentials, payment card or bank details, government identifiers, precise location, or sensitive categories of personal information such as health, biometric, racial or ethnic origin, religious belief, or sexual orientation data. There are no advertising pixels, no third-party ad networks, and no session replay or screen recording on this site.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no cookies. The analytics and performance measurement described above are cookieless and do not store persistent identifiers on your device for tracking purposes. Because we do not place cookies, there is no cookie banner and no cookie preferences to manage. Your browser may still store ordinary caching data as it does for any website.

5. How we use information

• To read and respond to inquiries you send us by email.
• To operate, maintain, and secure the site, including detecting and preventing abuse, fraud, and technical attacks.
• To understand aggregate usage and page performance so we can improve the site.
• To meet legal obligations and to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims where necessary.

We do not use information collected through this site for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.

6. Legal bases (for visitors in the EEA and the UK)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on our legitimate interests in operating and securing our website, responding to people who contact us, and understanding aggregate usage of our pages. Where the law requires consent for a particular activity, we rely on consent and you may withdraw it at any time. Where we must retain information to comply with a legal obligation, we rely on that obligation.

7. Service providers

We keep our vendor footprint deliberately small. The providers that may process information in connection with this site are:

• Hosting, content delivery, and analytics. Vercel Inc. hosts this site, serves it through its content delivery network, and provides the cookieless Web Analytics and Speed Insights measurement described above.
• Business email. Our email provider receives, transmits, and stores correspondence sent to our published addresses.
• Domain registration and DNS. Our registrar and DNS provider resolve gtconsumer.com so requests reach our host.

These providers process information on our behalf, or as independent operators of the infrastructure they run, subject to their own terms and privacy commitments.

8. Sharing

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising or targeted advertising. We disclose information only in these circumstances:

• To the service providers described above, for the purposes described above.
• When required by law, legal process, or a lawful government request, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of GT Consumer Technologies LLC, our users, or the public.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of assets, in which case information may transfer as part of that transaction and remains subject to this policy or a successor policy that is materially consistent with it.

9. Retention

We keep email correspondence for as long as needed to handle the inquiry and for legitimate business and legal purposes afterwards, such as maintaining a record of the exchange. Server logs and aggregate analytics are retained for a limited period consistent with security, troubleshooting, and reporting needs, and are then deleted or retained only in aggregate form that does not identify you.

10. Security

The site is served exclusively over HTTPS, and we maintain reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the small amount of information involved, including limiting access to email correspondence to the people who need it. No method of transmission over the internet and no method of electronic storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information under laws including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, and the GDPR and UK GDPR. Those rights commonly include:

• The right to know or access the personal information we hold about you.
• The right to correct inaccurate personal information.
• The right to request deletion of personal information.
• The right to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
• The right to receive a copy of certain information in a portable format, and to appeal a decision we make about your request where applicable law provides for an appeal.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@gtconsumer.com and describe what you are asking for. We may need to verify your request, and because we hold very little information about site visitors, we may be unable to associate a request with any information we actually have. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

12. Children’s privacy

This corporate site is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have received such information, for example in an email sent to us, we will delete it. A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us personal information can contact privacy@gtconsumer.com.

13. International visitors

This site is operated from the United States, and information collected through it is processed in the United States. Our hosting provider operates a global content delivery network, so a request may first be handled by a server closer to you before reaching us. If you visit from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be processed in a country whose data protection laws may differ from those of your own.

14. Third-party links

This site may link to product websites, app-store listings, and other resources operated by third parties. Those destinations are governed by their own privacy policies and terms, not by this one. We are not responsible for the content or the data practices of sites we do not operate.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site or our practices change. The current version is always posted on this page with a revised effective date at the top. Continuing to use the site after an update means the updated policy applies to your use of it.
